๐๏ธ Wrecking Ball
A/D or โ โถ move the crane ยท hold Space / HOLD & RELEASE to pump ยท let go to throw.
How to play
Wrecking Ball is a physics smashing arcade set on a demolition site. A heavy steel ball hangs from your crane, swinging back and forth on its cable, while crates roll past on the conveyor belt below. Your job: time the perfect throw. Hold the pump control to build swing power โ the swing gets wider and faster โ then release to let the ball fly. It arcs through the air and ploughs through every crate in its path. After each throw a fresh ball hooks on, and you go again until the 60-second shift timer runs out.
Controls
- Keyboard: A/D or arrow keys slide the crane left and right to aim. Hold Space to pump the swing, release Space to throw.
- Touch: tap โ / โถ to position the crane, then press and hold the big HOLD & RELEASE button and lift your finger to throw.
- The power bar under the game shows your current swing strength โ release near full power for maximum destruction.
Tips & strategy
- The ball flies fastest when released near the bottom of the swing โ that's when the pendulum is moving quickest, so time your release for the centre.
- Don't throw at full pump every time: a half-power throw released at the right angle can smash three crates in one arc.
- Smash crates back-to-back within about a second to build your combo multiplier up to x8 โ one throw through a cluster is worth far more than scattered singles.
- Golden crates are worth 500 points base: prioritise throws that will sweep through them.
- The conveyor speeds up as the shift goes on. Lead your target slightly โ aim where the crates will be, not where they are.
- Slide the crane between throws so your next swing lines up with the thickest part of the crate stream.
Scoring
Every smashed crate scores 100 ร your current combo, and golden crates score 500 ร combo. The combo climbs by one for each crate smashed within about a second of the last, up to x8, then resets if you go quiet. Crates that roll off the left edge escape unharmed โ no penalty, but no points either. Your best 60-second total is saved in your browser for bragging rights.
