🧠 Trivia Blitz
Press Start to begin the blitz!
How to play
Trivia Blitz is a one-minute sprint for your brain. When you press Start, the clock begins counting down from 60 seconds and general-knowledge questions start flying — science, geography, history, arts, sports and everyday facts, drawn from a bank of over twenty questions that shuffles every game. Each question has four possible answers. Pick the right one as fast as you can and the next question appears instantly. There is no penalty for a wrong answer other than the lost second and your streak resetting, so when the clock is ticking, a confident guess beats a frozen stare.
Controls
- Mouse & touch: tap one of the four answer buttons. Correct answers flash green, wrong ones flash red and reveal the right answer.
- Keyboard: press 1–4 or A–D to answer without touching the mouse — the fastest way to play.
- Answers lock briefly after each pick while the game shows the result, then the next question loads automatically.
Tips & strategy
- Streaks are where the big points live. Two correct answers in a row are worth more than two scattered correct ones, so protect your streak.
- Read the question first, not the answers — your brain often knows the answer before the options can distract it.
- Trust your first instinct. Second-guessing under time pressure usually swaps a right answer for a wrong one.
- On a total blank, eliminate the silliest option first; a 1-in-3 guess keeps your momentum better than a timeout.
- Use the keyboard. Moving a mouse costs a fraction of a second per question — over a minute, that is several extra questions answered.
- Warm up with one practice round to learn the rhythm, then chase your best score for real.
Scoring
Every correct answer is worth 100 points plus a streak bonus of 25 points per consecutive correct answer (so a five-answer streak earns 100 + 200 on its fifth question). Wrong answers score nothing and reset the streak to zero — but they never subtract points, so keep answering. When time runs out, your final score, accuracy and best streak appear on the results screen, and your highest score is saved in your browser as the best score to beat next time. Questions never repeat in the same order twice, because both the question order and the answer positions shuffle every round.
