How to play Tank Duel
Tank Duel is a top-down arena battler. You command the green tank against waves of CPU-driven enemy tanks on a battlefield dotted with concrete blocks. Your turret tracks your mouse independently of your hull, so you can strafe sideways while keeping your cannon trained on a target — exactly like a real tank duel. Each round spawns a squad of enemy tanks that hunt you down, and every round you survive adds more tanks that are faster, tougher, and quicker on the trigger.
Controls
- Move: WASD or arrow keys to drive your tank.
- Aim: your turret follows your mouse pointer at all times.
- Fire: click or press Space to shoot toward your aim.
- Touch: drag with one finger to steer (a joystick appears where you touch); tap anywhere to aim and fire at that spot.
- P: pause or resume the battle.
Tips & strategy
- Concrete blocks stop shells but not movement plans — peek out, fire, and duck back behind cover between shots.
- Enemy gunners miss on purpose at first but get scarily accurate in later rounds. Never sit still: keep circling.
- Enemies keep their distance when you charge — cut them off by driving toward a wall so they run out of room to retreat.
- Your shells fly straight and fast; lead a strafing enemy slightly so the shell arrives where the tank will be.
- Watch the health bar above each enemy — one more hit on a smoking tank is worth more than starting on a fresh one.
Scoring
Every enemy tank you destroy banks 100 points, with a 50-point bonus for clearing a round without taking a single hit. Your best score is saved in this browser, so every run is a shot at your own record.
