🚀 Rocket Rescue
How to play Rocket Rescue
Rocket Rescue is a physics flying game with a gentle-touch rule. You launch from the gray pad on the left with a full tank. Three astronauts float stranded in the canyon between the landing pads — fly close to one, slow down, and you scoop them aboard for 100 points and a small fuel bonus. Once all three are safe, the mission is simple: set the lander down on the green landing pad on the right, slow and upright. Touch the jagged rock too hard, come down tilted, or slam the pad, and the mission ends in a crash. Gravity never sleeps here, and your fuel never refills — every burn counts.
Controls
- Keyboard: ← / → or A / D to rotate the lander, ↑, W or Space to thrust. Press Enter on the overlays to launch or retry.
- Touch / Mouse: hold the ◀ ▶ buttons to rotate and the 🔥 button to thrust — they work while your finger is down.
Tips & strategy
- Thrust in short taps, not long burns. A good rhythm is: tap up, coast, tap up. Constant burning eats your tank before the third astronaut.
- Kill horizontal speed early. Drifting sideways is what kills landings — a rocket moving sideways at touchdown slides right off the pad.
- Approach astronauts from below and rise into them slowly. Diving at speed past a stranded astronaut scares nobody — it just doesn't rescue them. Keep your speed under control near the crew.
- Plan your descent onto the green pad from directly above it: hover, drop straight, feather the thrust. A tilted landing is a crash, no matter how slow.
- The middle gray pad is a safe rest stop. Set down gently to pause, think, and line up your final approach — it doesn't cost you anything.
Scoring
Each rescued astronaut is 100 points plus a fuel refill bonus. A successful landing on the green pad with all three crew aboard earns 200 points plus 2 points per remaining fuel unit. Your best mission score is saved in this browser.
