🤖 Robot Programmer
How to play
Robot Programmer is a code-puzzle game: the little robot can't think for itself, so you write its program one command at a time. Each level gives you a grid with walls, red obstacle blocks and a glowing green goal square. Tap Forward, Turn Left or Turn Right to append commands to your program — pick a repeat (×1 to ×4) to squeeze more steps into your limited command slots. Then press Run and watch the robot execute your code step by step. Reach the green goal to clear the level; drive into a wall or a red block and it's game over for that attempt.
Controls
- Mouse / touch: tap command buttons to queue them, tap the ✕ on a chip to remove it, press Run / Step / Reset.
- Keyboard: F = forward, L = turn left, R = turn right, Enter = run, Backspace = remove last command.
Tips & strategy
- Trace the path with your finger first — count the squares, then translate them into commands. Repeats are your best friend: "Forward ×4" uses one slot instead of four.
- The robot turns in place. A right turn followed by a left turn faces the original way — use that to peek around corners mentally.
- Use the Step button to execute one command at a time when a program misbehaves — you'll see exactly where your logic went wrong.
- Every level has a strict slot limit, so a solution that "works" with 14 chips may need trimming to fit. Shorter programs are better programs.
Scoring
Each level is graded by how few command slots you used: finish with room to spare and you earn the "Efficient Coder" badge for that level. Clear all 6 levels to win — the final screen shows your total slots used versus the total available.
