How to play

Road Cross is the timeless hop-across arcade challenge. Guide your frog from the grassy start at the bottom, weave through five lanes of speeding traffic, catch a ride on the river logs, and land safely on all five home flags at the top. You have three lives and 45 seconds per attempt — run out of time, take a splash or get squashed and you lose a life.

Controls

• Keyboard: arrow keys or WASD hop one square in that direction.
• Touch: use the on-screen d-pad below the board — big buttons made for thumbs.
• Every hop is instant and grid-locked, so plan each move like chess, not reflexes.

Tips & strategy

• Traffic alternates direction per lane — watch two lanes ahead before you commit.
• Logs carry you along, which is great until one slides you toward the screen edge; hop off early near the flags.
• The flags sit on even columns with water gaps between them, so line up your final hop from directly below a flag.
• Don't dawdle on the safe bank: the 45-second clock only resets when you score a flag or lose a life.

Scoring

Each forward hop earns +25 and every captured flag scores +100. Fill all five flags to clear the level for a bonus of 250 × level and move up — every level makes the traffic and the logs faster. Chain clean runs without losing lives to rack up the biggest totals.
