🎯 Precision Darts
Tip: watch the wind arrow at the top of the board — aim slightly upwind of your target.
How to play
Precision Darts is a timing game with a twist of weather. A crosshair drifts across the dartboard in a smooth, looping sway — it never sits still, so every throw is about picking your moment. Click the board, tap it, or press Space to release a dart exactly where the crosshair is hovering. Each game runs 3 rounds of 5 darts, and the board pays 10 to 50 points from the outer ring to the inner ring, with a 100-point double bullseye dead centre for the perfect throw. Round 1 is calm air: what you aim is what you get. From round 2 onward, gusts of wind push every dart off its flight path — a fresh arrow and strength meter at the top of the board shows you where the next gust will carry it. Read the wind, aim upwind of your target, and let the gust drift your dart home. Miss the board entirely and the dart scores zero. Your running total and your all-time best sit in the HUD for the whole match.
Controls
- Mouse: click anywhere on the board to throw a dart at the crosshair's current position.
- Touch: tap the board — the dart flies from wherever the crosshair is hovering at that instant.
- Space: throws a dart without moving your hands off the keyboard.
- New Game resets the score, the rounds, and your best-chase instantly.
Tips & strategy
- Don't throw at a moving target — throw at where it will be. The sway is a smooth loop, so time your release as the crosshair sweeps into the rings, not out of them.
- Aim upwind. If the arrow points right with strength 3, hold your release slightly left of the bullseye and let the gust carry the dart in.
- Round 3 gusts are the strongest — play safe and bank 30s and 40s instead of gambling every dart on the bullseye.
- Zeroes hurt more than low rings. A guaranteed 20 beats a risky bullseye attempt that sails off the board for nothing.
- The crosshair's loop repeats, so count its rhythm: after a few throws you'll feel the exact beat when it crosses the centre.
Scoring
Rings score 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 from the outside in, the bullseye pays 100, and any dart landing off the board scores 0. Your total across all 15 darts is your final score, and the best of all your sessions is saved on your device as your Best — beat it and the new record is stored instantly. Chasing 750 (a perfect game) means every single dart must find the double bullseye, wind or no wind.
