🚗 Parking Jam

How to play

Parking Jam is the classic sliding-block traffic puzzle: a 6×6 lot, a handful of cars, and one red car that needs to escape through the green exit arrow on the right edge. Every car slides only along its own direction — horizontal cars move left and right, vertical cars move up and down, never sideways. Tap a car to select it (it gets a white outline), then tap any free square along its lane to slide it there in one move, or nudge it step by step with the arrow keys. Clear the red car's lane all the way to the edge and the level is yours. Three hand-built jams, each trickier than the last.

Controls

• Mouse / touch: tap a car to select it, then tap a destination square in its lane to slide the whole distance as one move.
• Keyboard: select a car with a tap or click, then use the arrow keys to nudge it one square at a time.
• Restart resets the current level; Next Level appears once you clear one.

Tips & strategy

• Work backwards from the exit. The red car's lane is row 3 (counting from the top at 1) — figure out which car blocks it, then which car blocks that car, and clear the chain in reverse.
• Long vertical cars are the usual culprits. They need empty runway above or below them, so slide horizontal cars out of their column first.
• Every slide of any distance costs one move, so bold long slides are cheaper than timid nudges. Plan the whole chain, then execute.
• If a car will not budge, it is pinned by another car or the lot edge — look at both ends of it to see what is in the way.

Scoring

Your score is your move count, shown in the HUD. Level 1 clears in 2 moves, level 2 in 4, level 3 in 4 — match those and you solved each jam optimally. There is no timer, so think as long as you like.
