🚀 Missile Defense
How to play
Missile Defense is an arcade interception game: hostile missiles streak down from the top of the screen toward your three cities. Tap or click any point in the sky and the nearest battery fires an interceptor that detonates there — every missile caught in the blast is destroyed for 25 points, so one well-placed blast can clear a whole cluster. Batteries carry limited ammo and reload one shot at a time, so aim with intent. Waves grow from 9 to 30 missiles, and from wave 3 some missiles split into MIRVs mid-flight. Lose all three cities and it's over; clear wave 8 and you win.
Controls
- Mouse / touch: tap or click anywhere in the sky to fire an interceptor at that point. The nearest battery with ammo fires automatically.
- Keyboard: arrow keys move the targeting crosshair, Enter or Space fires at it, P pauses the action.
- The crosshair appears on screen whenever you steer with the keyboard, so you always know exactly where your shot will land.
Tips & strategy
- Don't chase missiles — aim ahead of them. Detonate in their flight path and let them fly into it.
- Missiles targeting the outer cities often pass near the middle — one central blast can protect two cities and save ammo.
- From wave 3, watch for MIRV splits around mid-flight: hold one interceptor back for the second half of the wave instead of spending everything early.
- Unused ammo earns bonus points after every wave, so a calm defender finishes richer than a trigger-happy one.
Scoring
Every intercepted missile is worth 25 points. Clearing a wave pays 100 points per surviving city plus 5 points per unused interceptor across both batteries. High scores come from efficiency: wipe clusters with single blasts and save ammo for late waves.
