How to play
Memory Match is the classic pairs game with a stopwatch attached. Sixteen cards lie face-down on the board — flip two at a time and try to find the 8 matching animal pairs. You have 90 seconds to clear the whole board. Every pair you find scores points, but mismatches cost you moves, and your score is best when you match fast.
Controls
- Mouse / Touch: click or tap any card to flip it.
- Keyboard: Tab to move between cards, or use arrow keys to hop up/down/left/right; Enter or Space flips the focused card. Enter also starts / restarts the game.
Tips & strategy
- Don't flip blindly at the start — make the first 4 or 5 flips deliberately and actually memorize the positions.
- Group pairs mentally by row: "fox is top-left, panda is bottom-right" is easier to recall than scattered positions.
- Speed pays: each pair is worth 100 points plus 1 point per second left on the clock, so finishing with 40 seconds banked is worth 320 extra.
- If two cards you're sure about are far apart, flip them one after another quickly — the 0.65-second reveal is long enough to click deliberately but short enough to keep momentum.
Scoring
Each matched pair scores 100 points plus 1 bonus point for every second remaining on the clock when the pair is found. A perfect game finished with 60 seconds left is worth 1,280 points. Run out of time before clearing all 8 pairs and the game ends — pairs already found still count toward your score.
