🚒 Fire Rescue
Move with mouse / touch / arrow keys. Click or tap a flaming window — or press Space — to spray water.
How to play
Fire Rescue puts you on a two-front emergency: a burning tower block with residents trapped inside. Job one — rescue: trapped people appear at windows, wave for a moment, then jump. Slide the firefighter along the street with your mouse, finger, or arrow keys so they land in the rescue net he holds overhead. Every catch adds 1 saved to your score; every person who hits the pavement costs you one of your 3 lives. Job two — douse: flames erupt in windows and creep to neighbouring rooms every few seconds. Click or tap a flaming window to hose it down — or press Space to spray the nearest blaze — but the hose needs a beat to recharge between sprays. A doused window stays safe for a while, and burning rooms can't spawn jumpers, so an out-of-control fire steadily chokes off your rescues. The shift ends after 90 seconds; lose all 3 lives and it ends early. Your final score is the number of people you saved.
Controls
- Mouse: move the pointer over the street — the firefighter tracks it. Click a flaming window to spray it with the hose.
- Touch: drag your finger along the street to move; tap a flaming window to douse it. You can play one-handed.
- Keyboard: ← → (or A / D) move the firefighter; Space sprays the nearest flaming window; Enter starts or restarts the shift.
- New Game restarts the 90-second shift instantly with a fresh building.
Tips & strategy
- Park under the lowest jumpers first. People on lower floors fall faster, so prioritise them when two jump at once.
- Douse early and often. One hose burst stops a spread you would otherwise chase all game — kill a fresh flame before it reaches its neighbours.
- Keep the firefighter near the centre of the building when idle: it minimises your worst-case dash to either edge.
- Flames on upper floors spread just as fast as lower ones. If the top rows are fully ablaze, sweep your hose there first — those rooms are your future rescues.
Scoring
Each caught jumper scores 1 save. There is no timer bonus — the only scoreboard is how many people you pulled out of the fire in 90 seconds. A double-digit save count is a heroic shift.
