How to play
Bubble Burst is a classic bubble-shooter with one simple goal: clear every bubble before the stack reaches your cannon. A staggered honeycomb of colored bubbles hangs from the top of the board while your cannon sits at the bottom, loaded with one bubble and showing you the next one in line. Move your mouse or drag your finger to aim — a dotted guide shows exactly where your shot will travel, including bounces off the side walls. Click, tap, or press Space to fire. The bubble arcs upward, ricochets off the walls, and snaps into the honeycomb the moment it touches another bubble or the ceiling.
When your shot connects three or more bubbles of the same color, the whole cluster bursts. Any bubbles left hanging with no connection to the top then tumble away — and that is how you clear big sections at once: pop the bubbles holding a cluster up and everything below them drops for free. Clear the entire grid to advance. There are 3 levels, starting with four colors and adding a new one each level, so the board gets trickier as you go. You lose if any bubble crosses the red danger line above your cannon, so keep the stack high and pop in clusters.
Controls
- Mouse: move to aim, click to shoot. The dotted guide previews bounces off the walls.
- Touch: drag on the board to aim, lift your finger to shoot.
- Space: fires the loaded bubble toward your current aim.
- Left / Right arrows: nudge your aim in small steps.
- Enter: starts the game, or starts a new run after game over.
- Restart resets the current run instantly, back to level 1.
Tips & strategy
- Shoot at existing pairs — firing a third matching bubble into a same-color pair guarantees a pop.
- Bank shots off the side walls to reach bubbles tucked behind others.
- Drop, don't pop: break the supports under a big cluster and the whole thing falls without spending extra shots.
- Keep your combo alive — consecutive popping shots multiply your points, but one dud resets it to ×1.
- Watch the Next preview beside the cannon and plan two shots ahead.
- When the stack hangs low, aim for the colors holding the most weight above the danger line.
Scoring
Every pop scores 10 points per bubble multiplied by your current combo. Your first popping shot scores at combo ×1, the next consecutive popping shot at ×2, then ×3, and so on — but any shot that pops nothing resets the combo back to ×1. Bubbles that drop because they lost their connection to the top score nothing; they are a free bonus for smart play. Your best score is saved in your browser and shown in the HUD, so every run is a chance to beat it.
