🃏 Blackjack 21
How to play
Blackjack 21 is the classic casino card duel, trimmed to its purest form: you against the dealer, first to 21 wins. You start with a 1000-chip bankroll. Pick a bet (10, 25, 50 or 100 chips) and press Deal — you get two cards face up, the dealer gets one up and one face down. Press Hit to take another card, Stand to lock your total, or Double on your first two cards to double the bet for exactly one more card. The dealer must draw to 16 and stands on all 17s. Beat the dealer without going over 21 and you win even money; a natural blackjack (ace + ten-value on the first two cards) pays 3:2. Ties push your bet back.
Controls
- Touch / mouse: tap the bet chips, then Deal, Hit, Stand and Double buttons.
- Keyboard: H = Hit, S = Stand, D = Double, N or Enter = Deal / new hand.
- Hint coach: tick the checkbox and a basic-strategy suggestion appears on every decision — great for learning when to double soft hands.
Tips & strategy
- Always double 11 against anything but a dealer ace, and double 10 against 9 or lower — those are the highest-value plays in the game.
- Never take a card on hard 17 or higher, and never stand on 11 or lower. The danger zone is 12–16 against a dealer 7 or higher: take the hit.
- Aces and 8s would be split at a real table; here there is no split, so treat soft hands gently — you cannot bust a soft hand with one card.
- Bet small while you learn the hint coach's patterns, then size up once doubling and standing feel automatic.
- If your bankroll ever drops below the minimum bet, the house tops you back up to 1000 — no shame in it.
Scoring
Regular wins pay 1:1, blackjack pays 3:2, pushes return your stake. There is no scoreboard — your bankroll is the score. See how high you can run the 1000 starting chips.
